Coffee Memorial Blood Center is dedicated to providing life-saving blood products and transfusion services to patients throughout the High Plains Region. Since 1949, CMBC has helped more than half a million patients.
Beginning with a single unit of blood collected in a doctor's office and now to our new state-of-the-art facility. We draw and process more than 30,000 units of whole blood, along with platelets, plasma and stem cells, per year. Coffee Memorial Blood Center is a nonprofit, community blood center dependent on volunteer blood donors. With a staff of more than 100 individuals, we serve 33 healthcare facilities in the Texas and Oklahoma panhandles. Our facility is located in 7500 Wallace Boulevard, adjacent to the Medical Center, in Amarillo, Texas (est. pop. 184,941). CMBC is a proud member of America's Blood Centers, the American Association of Blood Banks and the South Central Association of Blood Banks.
